The Foundation offers high school scholarships to learners who demonstrate the potential to excel academically, and who have the desire to fully engage in available opportunities. Scholarship recipients, known as Allan Gray Scholars, receive funding for high school tuition. It is the Scholarship’s vision to develop a community of young entrepreneurially minded leaders so that Scholars will become Candidate Fellows or gain access to university. The Scholarship was created to broaden the pool of Fellowship applications from those who are able to demonstrate financial need in Southern Africa. The Scholarship focuses on the development of intellectual imagination, encouragement of personal initiative, infusion of spirit of significance, courageous commitment and pursuit of excellence.

Anglo American is looking to award bursaries to excellent performers who will be in their 2nd or 3rd year of study. Students should be balanced their studies and involvement in other activities such as campus societies, sport and community organisations.

For students of Law who have completed BA or BCom Law, BIuris or BProc or first two years of revised 4-year LLB.

Cliff Dekker Hofmeyr offer opportunities to graduates who have completed LLB studies at university and who are looking to complete articles. Candidate attorneys are given opportunities in a variety of client events, graduate recruitment initiatives at universities as well as internal firm events (i.e. charity events, sports events and social activities in the office).

Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr award a number of bursaries to law students enrolled as a full-time student at a South African university for the LLB degree. Awards are based on academic performance and proven excellence in any other field.

The Dickson Poon Undergraduate Law Scholarship Programme offers prestigious and generous scholarships to outstanding new Law students at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London.Scholars will receive some financial support for the duration of the degree programme to which they are admitted. Scholars will also receive complimentary King’s accommodation during the first year of their LLB programme.

The Department of Roads and Transport is offering bursary opportunities to deserving students who intend enrolling in the following fields of study: BSc\BEng Civil Engineering ? As part of our commitment, the department’s bursary scheme provides financial support to South Africa students studying in the fields deemed critical and scarce to the National Treasury. It aims to build critical skills capacity and provide students with the opportunity to further their studies. Fields of study include the following: Accounting, Auditing (Internal), BCom Law, Engineering (Financial), Economics, Econometrics, Finance (Development), LLB, Management (Financial), Management (Risk), Policy (Public), Policy (Social), Taxation.

PPS bursaries are awarded on financial need and academic record to full time university students. To be eligible for the 2014 awards, the student must be registered at a participating South African University or University of Technology (listed below) registering for a fourth academic year of study or post-graduate degree and must be studying towards a profession, which on qualification, would be eligible for PPS membership.

The Professional Provident Society of South Africa is the largest multidisciplinary group of graduate professionals in the world with over 290 000 professional members. PPS is the only mutual financial services company in South Africa that has focused exclusively on graduate professionals for over 72 years. PPS offers bursaries and scholarships to fourth year and postgraduate students in a variety of fields.

The national bursary programme of the Institute dates back to 1935. Since then our students, among them Mr. Nelson Mandela, who won a bursary worth £120 in the late 1940s, have served the country in almost every field of endeavour.

The University offers a range of scholarships to international students who show exceptional academic potential and are starting their studies at the University of Sheffield in September 2014. Faculty Undergraduate Scholarships Faculties of Engineering, Science, Arts and the School of Law. Eligibility and Award Criteria: •You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your undergraduate studies in September 2014 in any of the departments listed above. •You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes. •The scholarships will be awarded automatically - no application is required in first or subsequent years. •The scholarships will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of studies. Award in subsequent years of study is subject to the achievement of 60% overall average mark. •The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction

This law bursary is offered only to undergraduate candidates from 2nd year of study for LLB, BA (Law), and/or BCom degrees.
