Bursaries By Study Field : Business Sciences & Commerce

The Access Trust provides financial support to students studying at TVET College in the Western Cape. Bursaries are for full-time post-matric courses at Western Cape Public TVET colleges.

This fund provides bursaries and guidance to students at public TVET colleges in the Eastern, Northern and southern part of North West Provinces.

For pioneering bright young students, to produce high impact responsible entrepreneurs.

The Foundation offers high school scholarships to learners who demonstrate the potential to excel academically, and who have the desire to fully engage in available opportunities. Scholarship recipients, known as Allan Gray Scholars, receive funding for high school tuition. It is the Scholarship’s vision to develop a community of young entrepreneurially minded leaders so that Scholars will become Candidate Fellows or gain access to university. The Scholarship was created to broaden the pool of Fellowship applications from those who are able to demonstrate financial need in Southern Africa. The Scholarship focuses on the development of intellectual imagination, encouragement of personal initiative, infusion of spirit of significance, courageous commitment and pursuit of excellence.

Preference is given to: current Grade 12 learners matriculated applicants waiting for a study opportunity full-time students in their first year studying towards the qualifications specified above.

The bursary programme is part of Coronation’s corporate social investment programme and applicants must be able todemonstrate financial need.The bursary is only available to prospective students at the University of Cape Town, Stellenbosch University, University of Pretoria and the University of the Witwatersrand. The FNB Fund Bursary Programme provides tertiary education access for learners who are academically capable but financially disadvantaged.

Bursary applications are invited from young people who aim to study full time towards an undergraduate university (academic) degree in Commerce (Economics, Business Economics, Accounting, Investments and Finance), BCom Informatics, BSc Computer Science, BSc Information Technology, BIT-Bachelors of Information Technology, BIS-Bachelor of Information Science, Business Science, Science and Mathematics, Engineering or Commercial LLB.

The Peregrine Bursary Programme is funded by an educational trust that applies the benefits flowing from the ownership of shares in the company to the upliftment of natural (principally black) persons in the advancement of broad-based BEE and transformation, through education.

SA citizens interested in full-time studies towards an NC(V) at an FET College in South Africa.

SA citizens interested in full-time studies at any South African University of Technology.

Study Trust awards partial bursaries to prospective or current degree students at South African universities. Studietrust may award bursaries to students in any field of study, but students studying towards degrees in the following fields will get preference: º Agriculture º Commerce º Education º Engineering

For residents of Uitenhage and surrounding areas who have good marks in Mathematics, English and Science, and wish to study or are studying in the Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Science or Commerce fields.

The Western Cape Provincial Treasury invites matriculants, undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in pursuing careers in Economics, Fiscal and Public Policy, Asset Management (Supply Chain Management, Physical Asset Management), Accounting, Public Finance (Expenditure and Revenue Analysis and Management) or Corporate Governance (Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Business and Public Administration) to apply for full-time bursaries.
