Bursaries By Study Field : Engineering - Industrial

Students with strong academic ability with limited financial resources, majoring in Bachelor degree in Computers or Electrical / Electronic / Industrial Engineering

The Afrox bursary is for students currently studying an undergrduate degree and who wish to study in the fields of: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Clinical Engineering

Altech offers a number of bursaries to persons who wish to engage in tertiary study with a view to obtaining undergraduate degrees through to postgraduate research. Currently, Altech is not offering bursaries for technikon studies. Bursaries are awarded in the following fields of study: Electronic Engineering Computer Science/Information Technology Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering

Previously disadvantaged students, preferably in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year, studying full-time towards BSc / BEng in Engineering - Industrial, Mechanical or Mining, IT or Sales and Marketing at a recognized South African university or university of technology.

This Program provides bursary opportunities for potential Masters students studying in the field of mechanical, industrial or systems engineering.

This procedure has been developed to enable Eskom to meet its business objectives regarding future skills requirements, thereby giving structure to the skills pipeline. To this end, bursaries based on business needs are awarded to candidates intending to study at recognised higher education institutions.

If you’ve recently passed or are busy with your Gr 12 and you’re from an historically disadvantaged background, then Exxaro can offer you the BSc 4 year programme or B Engage programme. This prepares student to compete on merit for a bursary.

Exxaro offers bursaries only to candidates currently in Gr 12 (or to recently matriculated candidates) who will commence with first year studies in the next academic year. The selection process occurs annually with the support of the Exxaro Community Development Practitioners at all Exxaro Business Units.

The IDC provide finance for industrial development projects by promoting partnerships across industries within and outside our borders, promoting regional economic growth. The IDC provide bursaries to students who qualify for admission to a University or University of Technology or who are currently studying at a University or University of Technology.

The SASOL University of Technology bursary is awarded to high achieving matrics wanting to attend a University or technology to study in the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Mine Surveying; Industrial Engineering and Power (Electrical Engineering and Process Instrumentation).

SEIFSA bursaries are awarded to students registered for approved undergraduate Engineering courses at South African universities as well as students studying towards a National Diploma in Engineering at Universities of Technology (UoT). Preference is given to employees of member companies of an Association federated to SEIFSA and their dependants.

Students who are studying engineering at university (Electrical / Electronic, Computer, ndustrial)

Preference is given to: current Grade 12 learners matriculated applicants waiting for a study opportunity full-time students in their first year studying towards the qualifications specified above.
