Students with strong academic ability with limited financial resources, majoring in Bachelor degree in Computers or Electrical / Electronic / Industrial Engineering

Anglo American is looking to award bursaries to excellent performers who will be in their 2nd or 3rd year of study. Students should be balanced their studies and involvement in other activities such as campus societies, sport and community organisations.

Engineering bursaries. Learners selected must have successfully undergone all of the selection processes and have passed grade 12 with results that meet or are higher than the university requirements.

For deserving students doing degrees that lead to professional careers in engineering, in fields of Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Main selection criteria: Academic merit and financial need. Preference is given to: current Grade 12 learners matriculated applicants waiting for a study opportunity full-time students in their first year studying towards the qualifications specified above

Students at University or Universities of Technology to apply for bursaries available in the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering (heavy current), Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering, Mining - 2nd or 3rd year students

The IDC provide finance for industrial development projects by promoting partnerships across industries within and outside our borders, promoting regional economic growth. The IDC provide bursaries to students who qualify for admission to a University or University of Technology or who are currently studying at a University or University of Technology.
