Description

This procedure has been developed to enable Eskom to meet its business objectives regarding future skills requirements, thereby giving structure to the skills pipeline. To this end, bursaries based on business needs are awarded to candidates intending to study at recognised higher education institutions.

Who Can Apply

South African learners in fields of Boiler Makers, Control & Instrumentation, Electricians, Fitters & Turners, Mechanical, Millwrights, Welders, Plumbers, Bricklayers, Carpenters, Power Plant Operators and who qualify for selection. Candidates with NSC, English, Mathematics and Physical Sciences 3

Full bursary covers registration and tuition fees, residence or accommodation fees, meals, book allowance, PC allowance, vacation allowance and accommodation.

Duration

I year renewable

Service Contract

Vacation work. One year’s service for each year of bursary
