Description
Palabora also provides practical graduate training programmes, which provide young professionals with challenging technical and operational work, aimed at equipping them with industry and leadership skills and abilities. Study programmes are also available for students wishing to pursue a career as electrical, mechanical or instrumentation technicians.
Grants are generally provided for:
Electrical engineering
Mechanical engineering
Chemical and metallurgical engineering.
Mining engineering

Value
Tuition and residence fees plus a personal allowance of R5000 for university students and R4000 for technikon students. An accommodation allowance if student does not stay in a university or technikon residence
Duration
1 year
Service Contract
One year service for each year the bursary was awarded with a minimum of two years. Vacation work is also required
