The Afrox bursary is for students currently studying an undergrduate degree and who wish to study in the fields of: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Clinical Engineering

Anglo American is looking to award bursaries to excellent performers who will be in their 2nd or 3rd year of study. Students should be balanced their studies and involvement in other activities such as campus societies, sport and community organisations.

Engineering bursaries. Learners selected must have successfully undergone all of the selection processes and have passed grade 12 with results that meet or are higher than the university requirements.

Samancor offer bursaries to high potential candidates mainly in the fields of Mining, Metallurgy, Engineering and Geology.

SEIFSA bursaries are awarded to students registered for approved undergraduate Engineering courses at South African universities as well as students studying towards a National Diploma in Engineering at Universities of Technology (UoT). Preference is given to employees of member companies of an Association federated to SEIFSA and their dependants.

The South African Iron and Steel Institute (SAISI) represents the collective interests of the South African primary steel industry. SAISI has made available funds to the University of Pretoria (UP) for several bursaries for first year study. The bursary is administered by the University of Pretoria and is subject to the conditions of the University. The bursary is available for first year engineering, B. Eng. Metallurgy.
